Cheryl Berger is an experienced attorney leading the firm's complex commercial and civil rights practice, with a current focus on real estate brokerage class action suits, anti-trust, anti-competitive practices, and commercial litigation. She handles matters in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. Recognized as a trusted advisor on antitrust issues, Ms. Berger serves numerous recognizable companies across the country. She has also been interviewed on TV and radio as a legal analyst.
With over 20 years of complex litigation experience, Ms. Berger handles all facets of litigation, serving as both trial counsel and appellate counsel to the firm. Her career history includes a significant tenure at the NYC Law Department, where she managed major civil rights actions in federal court as well as federal and state personal injury actions. Additionally, she has represented municipalities in cases involving false arrest, malicious prosecution, employment discrimination, zoning, and land use.
Ms. Berger is admitted to practice in New York, the Second Circuit, the Southern District of New York (SDNY), the Eastern District of New York (EDNY), and the Western District of New York (WDNY).
