Cheryl Berger leads the firm’s civil rights practice. With 20+ years of complex litigation experience in both federal and state courts, Ms. Berger’s unique background is comprised of the perfect blend of private law firm experience and in-house governmental agency practice, including 15 years at the NYC Law Department where she oversaw major tort actions involving civil rights, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and negligent supervision. Ms. Berger also has represented municipalities throughout the tri-state area involving false arrest, malicious prosecution, employment discrimination, zoning and land use. Her practice area also includes medical malpractice, real estate and commercial litigation.
